You may also consider keeping sleeping area of allergy - sufferers pet - free zone. Animals should not be allowed to sleep on their beds or even enter their bedrooms.
You should vacuum your home regularly. Try using a vacuum that has a hepa filter which prevents the dust mites from going back into the air when it is emptied. A bag-less vacuum fitted with a hepa filter will go a long way in keeping your home allergen - free.
Steam is moisture at high temperature. Dust mites cannot survive in this kind of environment. So, steam – clean as many of your home - items as possible. Steam’s moisture will kill the dust mites and help in making your home allergy - free.
These procedures reduce the number of dust mite below severe symptoms for allergic people, but a little sneezing and coughing may still occur to people who are very sensitive to the allergens.
